The Messenger of Allah (s.w.t.) has said:
"Surely Allah loves that young person who spends his youth in the obedience of Allah, the Most High."

The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.w.) said:
"The first thing that Allah made obligatory upon my Ummah was the five prayers; and the first thing from their acts of worship that shall be taken up will be the five prayers; and the first thing that they will be questioned about will be the five prayers."

Imam Ali (AS) says, 'He who does not exert himself in his childhood will not be high-minded when he grows up.'
Imam Ali (AS) says, 'He who does not learn as a child does not progress as an adult.' [Gurarul Hikam: 8937]
Imam Ali (AS) says, 'He who asks questions as a child is able to answer them himself as an adult.' [Gurarul Hikam: 8273]
Imam Ali (a.s.) : "There are two things which people do not recognize the greatness of until they lose them: their youth and good health."

Amir al-Mu'minin Imam 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) said :
''Adoration [of Allāh] consists of five things: keeping the stomach empty, reading the Qur'an, performing the night prayer, imploring Allāh(s.w.t.) at dawn, and crying much from fear of Allāh(s.w.t.) ."
